Racing Background: Grew up around drag racing and circle track racing.  Dad was a bracket racer and then track manager at Holtville Airstrip Dragway in Holtville, CA in the mid to late 1970’s.  I worked the timing booth and did typical “gofer” duty from the time I was 6 years old or so.  Helped a buddy build a “hobby stock” dirt track car in high school in the mid-80’s we ran that and other cars until the early 1990’s at Imperial Raceway (El Centro).  Crewed on an IMCA Modified for several years running dirt tracks around California and Arizona.  Finally re-connected with my drag racing roots by crewing on some Super class and bracket cars in the late 90’s.  Served as a “nitro intern” on Bob Gilbertson’s NHRA Funny Car team, which led to a friendship with Troy Cagle, who got me hooked up working on Jeff Gaynor’s first N/FC.  I’ve been working on Gaynor’s car for the last two years.

Hobbies: Fishing….. I love fishing! Coaching my daughter’s softball teams, Playing “Tony Hawk” with my son (the video game, as I’m too old and fat to try and ride a real skateboard)

Racing Background: I was born into drag racing! I raced Jr. Dragsters from age 10-17 (Rialto champ 15-17 age group in 1998). Retiring with a championship in 1997. I have been a crew member for my Dad since he started racing again and hope to be driving a funny car in the near future once school is finished.  Worked Tower at Barona Drags and Rialto Raceway.

Occupation: Grad student at UC San Diego, next stop Dental School.
